The staff at New Mexico Equine, Inc. provide professional Veterinary Services where Dr. Stephen Derwelis, former Director of the American Association of Equine Practitioners  and  horse practitioner for 42 years, and Dr. Marissa Curtis, 5-year Associate, care for horses and other equines, including Race, Pet, Show and other Performance Horses.

Dr. Derwelis, Dr. Curtis and their staff frequently provide clients and referral veterinarians with diagnostic and surgical services that are geared to enhance the performance and quality of life of the equine patient.  To meet these goals, these professionals are active in extensive continuing education opportunities in the field of equine medicine and  surgery, including daily consultations with other professionals.
